The human body is either in breakdown, or repair mode.
Mental, emotional, and physical stress promotes breakdown, while happiness and rest promotes repair.
Ideally we would spend most of our time in repair mode, with moments of stress, then returning back to repair mode. Unfortunately this is not the case for most people.
The average person wakes up tired because they didn’t sleep enough. Is eating nutrient poor food in a rushed state of mind. Works too many hours. Feels hostility from others at work. Doesn’t have enough time after work to do more than necessities, then has to start everything all over again the next day.
The human mind and body is very resilient, and can take a lot of abuse, but it does require tune-ups at minimum.
